How difficult would it be for someone at the club to communicate to referees how long it takes to get out and start a game at Withdean. Particularly when we have a minutes silence. Should be no reason why the game does not start at 3pm every week.

There is an old guy in our block who has to leave early every game to catch his bus who is missing another 4 minutes of every game because the club can't sort it out. He should get a season ticket refund!!!

And presumably the club new the statement that was to be made so why not tell the ref to come out a bit earlier?

In isolation it seems petty, but it happens all the time and has done for ages now, and is so simple to rectify.

Big deal, what's he going to do if a player sustains an injury requiring lengthy treatment? Demand the player pays him back for game time missed?

It's hardly midnight, it's 5pm FFS, what, does he need to be in bed by then?

I have no idea of his personal circumstances, I'm not his stalker. The point is the game is advertised as starting at 3pm, and the club don't seem to make any effort to make this so. Last time Insider commented on it and blamed the ref but it's every week. The ref changes but the club is the same every week.

So what if it finishes at 5 o'clock, just means I miss my train and have to wait half an hour, so have to go to the pub and wait!! Abit of a nightmare, but not the end of the world!!

There was a rambling inaudible speech followed by a minute's silence. Suppose they could have come out four minutes earlier, but in the end who gives a shit? There's always buses waiting at the bottom of the lane no matter what time a Saturday game finishes, and even if there isn't they run every ten minutes
