Solid leave that from Curran, stumps cartwheeling. :lolol:

If England are going to pick Buttler and send him out with the instruction of playing it like it is a one-day innings then you have to ask what is the point of test cricket?

I suppose the point is he comes in at 300/5 not 150/5.

It's always important to know where your stumps are

Anderson must be the only number 11 who needs to bring a selection of 5+ bats with him for any test.

Wonder if we average more batting first in a 50 over game or first innings of a test? I know it’s very different skill but I bet it’s close, indicative of our absolute lack of concentration and ability to go long.

WTF happened to Broads batting, what a farcical dismissal.

Pretty abject batting once again.

Yep, loving that "all-round package" that the selection of Dom Bess has brought to the team.

Shite with the ball AND shite with the bat - you can't get more all-round than that.

Isn’t that he same umpire who was widely regarded as the ‘Stevie Wonder’ umpire during the ashes series?
