Bell has not looked like a player with 12000+ International runs to his credit... and poor in the slips too... with so many new/inexperienced batsmen in the side (Lyth, Ballance, Stokes, Buttler) we needed more from him.

Tough to drop him because of the inexperience elsewhere but he is in danger of becoming a real issue in the balance of the side.

We can only hope he finds something special for the Ashes. England expects.
