Hope run out backing up!
Sounds like a ridiculous wicket. Anyone watching able to confirm?
The text commentary I have makes it sound pretty amusing:
Broad to Brathwaite, OUT, dropped, deflected, run out! Broad in his follow through can't cling onto a fierce straight drive, but instead, the ball ricochets off his thigh, into the non-striker's stumps, and Hope is stranded! England get the breakthrough in the most extraordinary passage of play, and now West Indies are up against it...
Ball watching. Unlucky but also should have been more aware.[tweet]902491650978570240[/tweet]
Unlucky but he's not straining to get back is he
Barring a collapse the Windies should coast this, if that happens Root needs to think about his generous declaration.

It'll be a shame too if he does, usually message boards like this are full of criticism for declarations made too late, like if we'd have waited for a in hour this morning there would definitely been complaints - best to applaud his declaration. If we lose this its because of the bowlers and fielders.
TMS keep repeating the stat that in 73 Tests and 1000+ First Class matches at Headingley no batsman has EVER scored a century in both innings of a game.
If BOTH Brathwaite and Hope were to achieve the feat in this same match, that would be statistically RIDICULOUS.
