I think Baird getting into a scrap with Darren ‘Big Dave’ Moore and both getting sent off was probably his best ever contribution to The Albion. Moore looked very good before that.
Also recall the Donny players carrying a banner saluting Brighton fans. Nice touch.

Er…. Yes. Just checked this as I could have got the name wrong but for once I think I am right. Big Dave was a character in a Pot Noodle (I think) ad at the time and recall this being used in relation to Darren.
I was pictured in 442 magazine watching someone digging up the pitch, I have a copy - only saw it by chance as I don’t normally get it.
