Absolutely genius comedy at the time. One of my all time favourites and every comedian on there is a legend.

Even today, when me or the Mrs have a good cough we sometimes say 'Bob Fleming 'ere..' aftwerwards. :lolol:

yeah I loved it..

It was pretty much the same characters/Jokes week after week.
But they were great jokes and great characters.
Jazz guy and Open University professor were prime examples.

Nice!

Yeah, and when she takes my dinner order she gets her pid pad pod and asks if I'd like peas or custard.

She doesn't really.

I eat my pees with custard,
I’ve done it all my life,
It makes my peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on my knife.

I don’t really..

some of it was great (especially Ted and Ralph), others a bit more uneven but definitely worth a watch.

One of the great things about it was that even if there was a crap bit, it was over so quickly you didn't really take much notice............the very good massively outweighed the occasional turkey

Don't know if he does now but Mark Williams ('this week I 'ave been mostly eating taramasalata' etc) used to live down this way - saw him on Brighton-bound trains out of London several times
