As a side note - based upon a couple of social media posts by one of his teammates, I think he might have suffered a potentially serious injury playing for the U-18s last Saturday, but I don't know the details.

The poor lad is going to be out for a while....

Otherwise add the CB and I defy any Albion fan to not see it as a major improvement from last years 25.

Add a fourth quality CB, and that (on paper) is comfortably the strongest Albion squad in history. We have hugely improved the depth of that squad. I haven't seen enough of the new signings to judge whether we have significantly improved the TEAM. Signs are promising though.

He's a footballer who isn't playing, and rightly confident that he will play and score goals for them.

By shipping both Hemed and Scheletto out on loan , we can save about £1m in wages between now and January.

From what little I've seen of Viktor Gyökeres, he looks a talent and this move would enable Chris to reward him by moving him closer to the first team. Seems like a win win all round.
