Yep. That turnover of players either out on loan (eg: Cochrane, Jenks) or sold permanently (Bernardo, Propper) is already well under way and the change to the squad to the final 25 is no different in terms of numbers than last summer where dozens of players were loaned/sold.

Ryan Longman has just signed a new 2 year contract and his 21/22 is “likely to involve another season on loan”. Presumably in the championship.

Pretty sure White will be a sale and within a few days of England's exit from the Euros, and I'd be surprised to see Bissouma with us next season. Agree with the rest, except my hunch is that Clarke will be with us.

Ryan and Gyökeres imminent, it seems.

Duffy, Jahanbakhsh and Locadia are the high wage savings we could still make. These are the most difficult deals to do.

Băluţa ( Farul Constanta ? ), Clarke ( swap with Knight at Derby to get round their embargo ), Tau, Østigård ( loan ) may be being worked on, I guess.


Christian Walton out and Scherpen from Ajax in seems to have gone very, very quiet.

Do they know something, or does their exclusion just refect that one way or another their loans haven't been as successful as hoped?
