The Brighton and Hove Independent ran this 25 man squad.

I also like the sound of signing Djed Spence from Middlesbough, sounds like he has a £10 million release clause.

Also looks like we will sign Lars Dendonker, 19 year old defender.

Bernardo would be in here as well

Also need to consider and accommodate the following in and around the squad.

GK Sanchez (Rochdale) may be in over Walton (I believe he signed an extension to 2021).

In defence Matt Clarke (Derby) Leo Ostigard (St Pauli) O'Hara U23

Midfield Molumby (Millwall) and Sanders (Wimbledon) Gwargis U23

FW Longman and Cashman U23

Would Alzate not qualify as an HGP? Presumably he would..

At least ONE of these will be getting upgraded.

Maybe I'm a massively over-sensitive snowflake, but why do you (and the whole of NSC as far as I can tell) always use such an insensitive term? They're not mobile phones, they're people, all of whom have given fine service to our club.

Don't think we'll be getting all of those in. I'm thinking the model now might be one - or two at most - big signings (not flotsam picked up from relegated sides, or the Belgian second division) plus more academy players being brought through.

I think we have a squad of PL quality players now. What we need is players who improve the group rather than just numbers an upside of the recruitment of the last few years should mean the wage bill should be under control and money should be available for special players or at least potentially special players. 2/3 players who can really make a difference

Is Izquierdo definitely out for the beginning of next season?
If not looks like we have one place we need to be actively looking to replace.

That would be all I would expect us to be bringing in to be honest.
There's a decent argument to bring in an upgrade in CM, but can't see it unless Propper/Stephens move on. ( or if the upgrade is U21)

I think that view of things went when they started getting payoff 100x average wage. They’ll live.

Given the financial impact this season, which will carry on until next year (until an effective vaccine in place) I'd expect spend to be limited with younger players filling the free spots in the squad.
