Ryan Fraser - Bmuff at home. Outclassed MM in all aspects, one of the key reasons for the slaughter.

If you don’t believe me and others, then even loyal CH dropped MM for the oldest player in the PL.

Further off than Bissouma... and Bissouma won't be squad training until the international break.

As far as Bissouma is concerned I would have hoped his fitness was at a perfect level. Having a shoulder injury may stop contact training but running etc should not hinder his fitness.

Do you have a quote for that ? I'd heard it was a few weeks off at least in an interview with Potter at beginning of pre season but nothing that specific.

i think that was his estimate of when he's in contention for being in the team rather than training. (and "jose - more than that") but hard to tell.

Rather add Kayal to the squad instead of Balogun

I think the club will be reluctant to let Balogun go as the squad stands. If we are going to play 3 CBs then we need 5 in the squad. I know Bernardo could be considered cover in an emergency but for me it makes sense to have 5 specialist CBs in the squad even if one is going to be pissed off at lack of game time.

I've not listened to the interview, but was it specifically the September International break (pleased if it was!) ? There are two more in October and November..

It was not only hard to hear but also ambiguous- but Bissouma Back jn a few weeks seems realistic so assuming Sept 7th .
You’re right though many factors would affect Jose comeback

I would not be surprised if Balogun wants to leave even if named in the 25. A transfer back to Germany maybe ?

With Tudor Băluţă able to be 5th choice CB, as well as Bernardo, I don't see that as a problem.
