The second yob was speaking some language - it certainly wasn't English.
What is it that makes a white english bloke speak like a west indian pigeon.

Anyway until they bring back hanging got to put up with it.

Gangsta talk innit blud

Exactly what I was gonna post. That is PUT ON and SELF TAUGHT accent which really grates on me. It’s bad enough in London etc but Jesus BEDFORDSHIRE! If you notice he loses a lot of this ‘twang’ when donning his mate in then puts it all back on to try intimidate the police - pathetic losers the pair of them.

Really sad case and very little motive given to bloody murder a 20 yr old :( what a waste of life.

Think you’ll find capital punishment is negatively correlated with crime and inconsistent with deterrence findings including little systematic evidence based on execution rates and a framework of non negligent murder that recursion judicial systems as an effective control.

What I really enjoyed was, up to that point, the coppers actually had a real issue proving where they were and when..

Until Ashley started talking and, where he thought he was clearing his name, all he was doing was confirming their location and filling in the one bit the police needed.

The scene's with the mum were just awful. Poor woman.

It's one of those programmes where (and this sounds terrible) I almost forget some poor lad has DIED until the end as you are so involved in the fact-finding.

It's a brilliant brilliant programme.

Don't forget, the 'poor' lad that died was getting £2000 a week dealing drugs.
Sympathy, nah I don't think so.

Surprised the little scrotes got 27 years thought they'd get let off with 10 years each. As SimmoSays says live by the sword, die by the sword.

Ah. that's alright then.

Glad he's been brutally stabbed in the neck and died.

'sake.

Calm your face down.
He could have become a plumber like myself and my son.
Worked hard and become a member of the community.
Instead he chose to be a scumbag.

Show me where I said I was 'glad' he was stabbed in the neck.
I don't care zilch about him or his so called mates.
However what we can agree on is it is a really good programme

One of my favourite TV shows; however, I had the absolute misfortune of living around the corner from the police station for 3 months recently.

Luton really is a horrid place.

It's a lovely place, what are you talking about lol. Used to live in St Peters Road, quite near the football ground. There was always something going on in this place.

Indeed. He may well have become something. Unfortunately he made a mistake as a young man....and got stabbed to death for it.

To me, not even getting the chance to turn your life around brings sympathy. I have relatives in the town featured on that episode. I was walking through that park in the summer. The drugs problem is huge there at the moment. It's no wonder kids, when hearing they can make over £1k a week by simply selling weed are falling into it.

He chose the wrong path and put himself in the firing line. That doesn't mean I can't feel sympathy for him being killed at twenty years of age.

Fair enough - he chose the wrong path.

But I would have thought that he had every chance but the lure of easy huge amounts of dosh somehow got the better of him. Not saying that it isn't sad, that he died so young, but in the end he chose what he did.

He did but pretty sure most people have / have had mates who have dabbled in dealing. Was only weed too. Not great but could have been worse. I still have sympathy he died. These kids don’t realise what dangers this line of work can have though.
