I can genuinely see this at worse spelling the end of these games as we know it or best every ten years with countries rather than cities hosting!

Should hold it here. Cycling at Preston Park, Archery on the beach during the illegal raves, tracks and field at Withdean, sailing on Queen's Park pond, boxing on Saturday down West Street.

I like the Commonwealth Games and attended the Rugby Sevens in 2022, which was in Coventry.

It seems to me that probably only the UK has cities with the existing infrastructure given that Canada and Australia seem to have ruled themselves out.

Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow have all held the games since 2000, and they may be the only option.

Unless a country is willing to 'spread' the games beyond a single host city.
