Hi @Pogue Mahone …. I realise the Pyrenees are vast, have you ridden the “beyond category” Col de Soudet?

No, I haven't done that one.

They're doing Le Tourmalet tomorrow as well - I have done that.

Apparently, I'm doing it next year as well. I need to develop some muscle problem that makes this impossible.

I checked out Vingegaard’s weight, he looked so tiny to everyone else today in terms of frame …. just 9.5 stone. Perfect for climbing, he was immense today.

Envious.

Potentially/probably race over, but on the other hand it could get quite interesting now.

Pogačar will try and win, I can't see him riding all the way to Paris just for a top 3/5, so was today a bad day at the office or is his form not there at all. Also, can Hindley hold onto Vingegaard's wheel and/or take more time ahead of the TT...
I think he's easing himself back from his broken wrist. Will need to get back on form quickly to pose a challenge to Vingegaard.
Great stage today though.

Eurosport player highlights not much cop as they didn't show Vingegaard dropping Pogacar.

I noticed WVA was up the road earlier in the day. Did Vingegaard bridge to him?

Pfff . . . I did this . . .

admittedly it was in 1986, I was a few days shy of 15 and fit . . . and it took us a few hours . . . . They don't race with panniers and tents though.

Wow. Did you see glaciers at the top? Would’ve been far more prominent then.

I was going to say, did you have the old school skinny body we all had in those times … before the McDonalds and energy drink generations squashed us.

Another stunning stage on what is shaping up as a classic tour.

Elsewhere Vlooters totally bossing it.

This has to be the most unpredictable and unusual TdF in years!
Fair play to the organisers starting with an incredibly tough week.
I'm guessing they might pay for that in week 3, but so far so good.
