A lot of trust being placed in some young players, the Club must rate them highly.

This is the EFL trophy. Premier League clubs have to name a squad primarily made up of players under 21. Rules state at least 6 of the starting 11 have to be under the age of 21 as of June 30th 2021. Additionally only 2 players on the team sheet can be over the age of 21 and have played more than 40 first team games. So we'd never be allowed to name a team with a few first teamers to come off the bench.

Roberts is named in our first team squad on the club website.

I suspect the club are looking for every opportunity to give him game time but I noted that he wasn’t trusted to come on for Webster at the weekend.
