Voting numbers should diminish as many elderly white republican folk pass on.

In addition, there are record levels of Covid infections in the U.S. in the last few days, I’d take a punt that many Americans contracting it will be Trump followers who simply believe his rhetoric that the virus is virtually harmless. Thousands will die as a result of in-person voting, pro-Trump protests and his God-Awful rallies.

Also - Millions of Trump supporters will simply never vote again. Do you remember all the Brexit gammon coming out (many who would not normally vote) stating that they’d never vote again if we had another democratic referendum?

Same thing will happen in the U.S. Many rednecks will hopefully just return to the swamp and assume that their disgusting views will never affect democracy again.

I think there should be some length of a probation period for world leaders. 6 months to prove you're not a total imbecile or you're out. I'm not sure how that would work logistically or democratically but to be stuck with idiots like Trump and Johnson for years seems cruel.
