Missed the " official " declaration but knew this was coming, I'm so pleased they have got over the line and by some margin

. I'm only one insignificant bloke living in a little town in Sussex who's life will not be radically changed by President Biden, however, I now feel a lot safer knowing that there will be someone in the White House who will be surrounded by knowledgeable advisors who will understand the important issues on the world stage and act accordingly. A leader who can speak English, someone who can empathise, someone who isn't going to have tantrums and shit the bed, someone to restore hope.

On the eve of the election Trump gave out his usual inflammatory rubbish, Joe Biden said " I want to restore decency to The White House " .....well that's a win already.

Where is Donald Trump?

When news came in that Joe Biden is projected to win the presidency, Donald Trump was at his golf course in Sterling, Virginia, having left the White House earlier today.

It's from there that he's thought to have issued his statement regarding the result, which followed new numbers released from the key state of Pennsylvania.

I’m eager to now see Trump’s life fall apart.

I was shocked to see that he’ll still get top level security briefings for the rest of his life as is the tradition for former Presidents in the U.S. But the Orange C*** can’t be trusted so they are going to have to alter many of the conventions former Presidents enjoy.

The security he'll be getting will be inside a prison and that brief will be simple. Hopefully!!!

But wearing a shitty wig, having an orange tan and an inability to understand the concept of ‘fact’ is perfectly acceptable. You are going to have a miserable few years, especially as it looks like Boris is going to have to go cap in hand to the EU.

Hey, I don't back Trump, but anyone who is not prepared to talk to the UK is a c***.
We won't go begging to the EU. Face it, its is probably going to a No deal now.

There’s only three years between Biden and your Trump. Not sure I’d want to lead the USA at 77 but I will ready and willing to lead the U.K when I retire. Vote Mr Tubthumper 2045!

I will give you a tip when running for PM, don't take any of the political polls on here as a UK country view, in fact just do the opposite of what NSC say.

Then you might stand a chance.:lolol:

Don't see Obama needing to hold his hand. ???

They both have amazing energy, you don't run a successful presidential campaign without having that quality; although I think it's fair to say Biden has a much wider set of aptitudes for the job.

And as for your last point he could be the best President the US and western world had ever had.

Biden is not the messiah IMO. We will have to wait to see whos right on this one.

I've read that 5 times and I'm more confused than when I started :moo:

Not quite sure what you're trying to say!

Regarding the senate, there will be a run-off election in January.

Yeah, I can't understand it either.

There is a run-off for two senate seats in Georgia in January. Georgia is generally a red state. Given that the Democrats have the GOP it is likely that Georgia will elect Republicans to stop the Democrats taking both houses.

Thus, Republicans may feel much better about things and Trump will start to see everyone leaving his side and just getting on with things.
