About £1.50 a game if in the Prem so I can take that.

That said the overall price of watching football could be lowered if agents and players took a little less

Why should they, would you in a similar position?

The money in the game is due to those that pay for sports channels, namely Sky Sports. That money has attracted the top players from around the world and that in turn makes the league the most watchable which means it sells around the world and more money comes in. I think I read somewhere that the increase in TV revenue last time could have allowed clubs to let in fans for free and still have more money than the last TV deal.
