You are correct, he is certainly no angel, went about it the wrong way to get heard, but would people have listened. Has the authorities finally taken notice of what he was saying years before they actually acted on it?, did the authorities hound him and take the sides of others, an example being assaults on him (one filmed on C4) and no convictions.
Has he highlighted groomings, has he spoken out against radical preachers, has he killed anyone?
Perhaps he is no angel, he is certainly a lot better than those that ignored him, and those that carried out the atrocities in Manchester, Lee Rigby, Charlette Downes, Rotherham, Rochdale, Oldham etc.
The "clowns" are those that ignored, but finally woke up.
