Sydney .
In sport we've just seen The Cubs win The World Series for the first time 108 years and here in Oz we've just had historic winners in both of the 2 major football codes - Western Bulldogs winning the AFL Flag for the 1st time in 62 years
and Cronulla in the NRL, their maiden title since joining the comp back in 1967.

As others have said Le Pen in and Merkel out, but I think very possibly the collapse of the EU and maybe even NATO.

What ever the looney leftie liberals say. Bet against it.

I'll start you off.

Timmy to win the Pulitzer Prize.

I would rather be a Looney Leftie Liberal than a third rate wannabe hack who becomes a figure of ridicule every time they put finger to keyboard without the faintest modicum of self awareness or notion of self respect.

A £5 acca at the best available odds for Leicester to win the Premier League, Brexit and Trump would have paid £12,000,000

Pollsters were wrong about the last General Election , Brexit and Trump . Here's hoping they're going to be wrong about Corbyn too and he wins a landslide for labour .

Pollsters underestimated the support for the right of centre party in the two elections. I haven't seen any evidence they have done the same for parties on the left. Plus they were out by a few percentage points whereas Labour currently trail the Tories by a much bigger margin.

As for the referendum I think it unlikely a man who dislikes singing the national anthem and believes in open door immigration will attract much of the Brexiteer vote. Which is why UKIP is threatening Labour support in their northern heartlands.

Keep hoping though.

I suspect 'a landslide' for Corbyn is over-egging the amount the polls could be wrong.

The reason both Trump and Brexit won was because people voted for an outsider and against the establishment . Corbyn fits both those profiles. There's an interesting topic on LBC now that if you take out Muslims, Mexicans and Misogyny then what Trump and Saunders are saying is exactly the same and Trump has actually stated socialist policies in his campaign.

UKIP are attacking labour heartlands? According to what ? Those all reliable polls?

The voting for an outsider/against the establishment was definitely a factor but not the reason. The 'Take back control' or 'Make America great again' slogans were aimed at voters interested in self determination or with a more Patriotic/Nationalistic mindset. Immigration was also seen as a significant issue in both cases. Saunders definetly plugged into the anti establishment /disenfranchised vote but that only takes you so far. As others have said the US is light years away from getting a majority to vote for a 'Socialist' candidate.

According to the only truly reliable polling evidence .. actual elections.

Almost 150,000 former Labour voters crossed over to Ukip at the 2010 election. Five years later, at the 2015 election, this number had increased to nearly a million.....This shift has positioned Ukip as the runner-up to Labour in 44 constituencies. Moreover, most Labour MPs now represent constituencies that voted leave in the EU referendum.

Stephen Fry to be elected president of Russia.

Watched an old "QI" on Dave last night, he actually got facts wrong, about his (alleged) relative CB Fry. Claimed he had played for SURREY for god's sake. What an insult.

Also said that being offered the Kingship of Albania after WW! and turning it down as his successor King Zog (sic) did not last long. WRONG. He was leader of Albania for about 18 years and King for 11.

I don't think Mr Fry (S) is as clever as he thinks.
