I'm sure I saw an Attenborough TV program ages ago about a GOAT that has no FEAR, but for the life of me I can't find what it is.

Right, Trufflehound is correct, the crown of thorns jellyfish doesnt exist...but the crown of thorns starfish does. So its the starfish that is being put in the draw. Jelly fish are fine, the problem was only with the Portuguese ma of war.

There are currently 49 creatures in the pot. I'm going to start the draw. There'll be four groups of ten competitors(groups A-D) and one of nine(group E). The top three from each group will progress to the knock out stages along with the wild card, which will be the highest scoring fourth placed creature from groups A-D.

The Crown of Thorns "Jellyfish" in the picture above looks remarkably like a Crown of Thorns Starfish to me.

I suspect foul play. I don't think there even is such a thing as a Crown of Thorns Jellyfish.
