The killer whale must have a real chance this time round. Previously held back by the unfair portrayal of it being a complete handbag in Free Willy, the recent Frozen Planet series has shown what a MEAN fucker it can be, killing whales much bigger than itself. Hard.

I don't think there's any place for Jellyfish in this poll, they have NO BRAIN.

rumour has it that the Grizzly Bear loves a cuddle...

Grizzly Bear for me. Rumour has it that the best way of avoiding being eaten by a bear when you are out rambling in the forests of wherever they live is to make sure that you are accompanied by someone who can't run as fast as you.

I'm fully behind the Orca this year, as Simster says Frozen planet showed these bad boys ruling the seas killing all comers in new and exciting ways. Not just hard but intelligent.

Orca eating Great White, then just eating it's liver because the rest tastes like ass.

Eating Seals off the beach, risking death whilst doing so

Orca's just throwing seals around for a laugh

Orca v Sperm Whales which are 8x there size.

Has to be the Orca....taking on a Great White makes it double hard in my book!

"excuse me sir, could you tell me the time please?"

"why of course, it's SHIT JUST GOT REAL O'CLOCK"

Hahaha

"Officer, can you please direct me to the Library?"

"Absolutely, young lady - just head down there and turn left at ALL HELL BREAKING LOOSE"

(Incidentally, I'm going Rhino. Does not give a solitary f***)

Not the easiest of groups for the defending champ, but he should still make it through into the next phase.
