Cape Buffalo

Known as one of the "big five" or "Black Death" in Africa, the African buffalo is widely regarded as a very dangerous animal, as it gores and kills over 200 people every year. Finished 1st in Group A with 24 votes. Beat Inland Taipan 45-17 in the second round

vs

Honey Badger

notoriously fearless and tough animals, having been known to savagely attack their enemies when escape is impossible. They are tireless in combat, and can wear out much larger animals in physical confrontations. Finished 1st in group E with 30 votes. Beat Stonefish 27-7 in the second round

The buffalo is just big. The honey badger DEFINES the meaning of HARD. Easy choice for me.

This. People don't seem to GET what makes something 'hard'. It doesn't mean 'most dangerous' or 'kills most humans'. It means can take care of itself against something bigger than it, and is possibly slightly mentally unhinged. Badger/Cassowary should (on those criteria) meet in the final. But money on the f***ing shark will win the whole thing, 'cause the Honey Badger might as well be called the Marmalade Gerbil to those who don't get what a mentalist it is. It attacks LIONS, and COBRAS, for a giggle. But oh wow, the shark ate a fish. I don't give a shit, it gets beaten up by DOLPHINS. Badger for the win!

Gotta be the buffalo, can just tread on the badger ffs and as I said in previous round any animal that wears its horns like a moustache on it's head simply has to win

Difficult choice so I go with the human death toll criteria - dont think the Honey Badger offs 200 people a year so Cape Buffalo for me.

It's been proven that Honey Badgers have been known to CASTRATE Cape Buffalos. This isn't even a hypothetical match up. Honey Badgers are harder.

Anyone who votes Buffalo here is a nincompoop.

Spot on. But then, in the very next post:

Gotta be the buffalo, can just tread on the badger ffs and as I said in previous round any animal that wears its horns like a moustache on it's head simply has to win

How many times does it have to be explained that IT ISN'T A QUESTION OF WHO WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT BETWEEN THE TWO ANIMALS!!?? It is about which is the harder animal, POUND FOR POUND!!

What is so difficult to understand about that?

"The Buffalo could just tread on the badger". Yes it could, although it probably wouldn't as Honey Badgers have been proven to attack Buffalo. But that isn't the point, that isn't what the contest is aboutt. Why cant people see that? What's wrong with you all? Retards.

No I am not in a good mood this morning.
