First up we have the Hippo

The Hippo is a ferocious killing machine. It kills for fun not food, and uses it's giant frame, surprising speed and awesome tusks. Capable of killing on land or water.

The Story So Far

Made the first round look like a walk in the park, destroying the competition with a mammoth 64 votes. Then came out of a tough game against the heavily fancied Colossal Squid and put in a very impressive performance, winning 56-40. Came up against the Tiger in the Evil Eight round and put in a good shift, easing through 61-53 against a heavily fancied opponent. He found the semi-final extremely easy, thrashing the Grizzly Bear. The Hippo has been a losing finalist in the past, is this finally the year that it takes it to the next level?

VS

Honey Badger

"The People's Champion" is a fearless competitor. He will take on anything from snakes, hives full of bees, to the likes of the Lion.

Story So Far

The people's champion came through a very tough and controversial group, quietly going about his business to amass 49 votes. The Savage 16 was an incredibly tough one, and was initially drawn 62-62 before the badger won 14-10 in a tense 15 minute play-off. Had yet another tough match against the Great White Shark who had previously slaughtered all in it's path. The People's Champion proved too much in the end, and he kept the dream alive by winning 71-67. Came through another tough test in the Ferocious 4 round, against a former finalist- The Crocodile, and at one point looked dead and buried, but came through in the end. Has threatened to go far in this contest before, is this the year that he realises his collosal potential?

Voted for the HB earlier, but to be described as 'the people's champion'? Hmmmm...

The amphibious Hippo gets the vote.

A bad start for the Honey Badger but it has shown time and time again what a fantasticly tenacious creature it is.
