1:21'13" for a new pb. Funniest moment was a drunk on London Road standing in middle of the road givin it the large until someone dropped a lovely shoulder barge on him and his mate told him to get out the road. Also thanks to the friendlier drunk cheering everyone on in the lanes!

The switchback on Madeira drive is indeed unpleasant as is the drag up dukes mound.

Never understand peeps who complain about no medal. If you want a medal win the damn thing! I think the free t-shirt is a much better memento. The medal last year was a piece of crap anyway.

I like a medal though. Running 13.1 miles is a huge achievement for a lot of people....so a medal is a nice and appropriate memento.

Anyone up for some 'friendly' NSC Nike+ challenges then?

Most miles in a month/year type of thing - a motivational tool for all...

I'd be game. Need to buy (and understand) one of these gadgets first. I'm stepping out onto the road a bit more now the weather is improving so yes it could be fun to get involved.

Totally agree. T shirt over medal any day.

For those of you preparing for the London Marathon - there is on the 29th March the Cranleigh 15/21. (Exacly 4 weeks prior to London)

You run 15 miles - and if you then want to (and reach 15 miles in 2 hours 25 or under) can go on and do another 6 miles.

My thinking is if I can do 21 I will be able to do 26!
