Slight misunderstanding there - the only thing that was illegal previously was the use of someones picture without permission.

Incidentally, why are they protected? Do you have to pay for them or just get permission?

Adrie - I think you are missing the point. You are not allowed to publish the fixture list in any format, free or otherwise, as they are copyright to the Football League. They have a record of chasing people down that use the lists without paid permission. This is one occasion where you need to understand that you CANNOT REPRODUCE THE FIXTURE LIST IN ANY FORMAT.

He was told it was breach of copyright which is exactly what Hockley Blues has been told.
There isn't any hypocrisy.
If HB's wallpaper had been used and allowed and Adrie's hadn't, then it would be.

Well everyone did feel the need to have a go at Adrie about it right from the word off, whereas people have (quite rightly) been nice to Hockley and politely pointed out that it's against copyright law as opposed to gloating about it with Adrie.
