Shame ITV thought it warranted the lead story on the news just now.

Well clearly not much else of interest is going on in the world at present.

:lolol: The bloke on the news was standing in the middle of the "no mans land" between the two sets of fans and explaning in great detail about the violence and how bottles were still being thrown overhead!

the bloody germans always start it the bastards and we get the blame for it, that really boils my kettle :censored:

Sounds like the english were congregated quite strategically according to the news and were giving it large all day. 6 of one half a dozen of the other it sounds like.

Expect the journos are wanking each other stupid with this one now, they have been hoping it all kicked off and now they can wring their hands and tell us again how we are the scourge of Europe. Ignoring the Italians, Polish, Germans, etc, etc.

We didn't ignore the Germans - we threw white plastic furniture at them. And that'll smart a bit.

Exactly, hence a scuffle or two - the police have denied it's a riot - makes headline news already. I did a search on Getty Images and the majority of 'troublemakers' photographed were English. Shame.

If only we could hold our booze :nono:

Erwin Hetger, head of the state police, said: "We had no problems at all with the French, Swiss and Dutch fans that were having a great party here.

"It all changed when the English fans arrived. The atmosphere changed. The incidents began late yesterday evening."

-- What a wanker. German hoolies were champing at the bit for us to arrive.
