Just happened to notice that I joined NSC 20 years ago today....sad (or happy) to say that it's played a moderately important part in my life over that period!! Of course, countless hours have been frittered away, but on occasion it has been a truly amazing resource. In particular, throughout the Falmer planning process. And of course so many enjoyable, humorous, well-informed posts - courtesy of a wonderful community (the vast majority of whom I don't know!). As ever, eternal gratitude to Bozza and the team of mods, who manage to keep NSC on the straight and narrow....in particular for their inclusive approach. Long Live NSC!

I was definitely on a version of NSC in 1999 - 2000, maybe earlier, when I was working in Manchester. Remember posting a few 'just back from the game' threads when I'd been up to see us play at Rochdale or Halifax or somewhere equally far-flung where not many were there and we most definitely weren't on the telly. Then it would get spammed by various orient., cardiff and palace fans

I was!

And I was also on the first incarnation of NSC under a long lost username I think in the late 90's but usually only posted 'where's the best place to park in Bury etc . Horrible old style hierarchical thread style (can't remember the proper term). I wonder how many of us are left from that time?

6th Oct will be 20 years for me.

I joined as I moved an away from Brighton and I could keep up with what was happening with the Albion and it was always the first place for Albion news. I did view it for a long while before I got the account then did not post much at all to begin with.

Been on here since 99. I remember the post on 9/11 “WTF is happening at the World Trade Centre” I was initially confused as my company was demolishing the top 4 floors of the WTC in Canary Wharf, that had been, previously, damaged by an IRA bomb. It was only when I looked online I saw what was happening in New York. Ricky Marlowe's Hairpiece had posted on NSC, the day before.
