Puts on 98 points.
Obviously very optimistic.

However, I see it that we can potentially lose 6-8 points from the above wins/draws.

Same as start of season points prediction thread,101 points

Siege mentality now in full throttle, every game now at Amex we make it a fortress
The same as we did at the goldstone in 97 when trying to stay in football league

4 loses all season? That'd be 9 in 2 seasons!

That's ridiculously optimistic with 1 defeat.....I reckon we'll lose 7 or 8 this season but go up :)

Extremely optimistic for sure, unrealistic too.

I think we will lose more than just the one, but I can't see any other team on there who we'd lose to.
If I HAD to pick 3 losses, it'd be Leeds, Brentford and Villa (who might be in a playoff push).

The big party is Wigan (H) either promoted that day or the game before.
VILLA. Looking forward to taking 7500 fans to a meaningless game and singing "Here for the Albion, you're only here for the Albion" as we lose 7:0 but Villa finish 7th.

Think we will finish on 92 points, and in 2nd , 6 clear of 3rd place and 4 behind Newcastle in 1st. As this means we be promoted if this happens I don't care if we finish 2nd

W10 D6 L4 = 93 pts. 2nd; comfortably ahead of 3rd.

And even this prediction allows for dropping 8 more points than our current cumulative ppg. Blimey.

I've decided to predict a dramatic drop in our current PPG stat by building in the possibility of having a number of games officiated by Mike Dean and injuries to Dunk, Stephens, Knockaert & Murray.

89 points, will it be enough this time round?

I believe we have enough to go up this season - as long as we can keep key players fit or have enough cover in reserve.

We have covered Kayal and he is coming back at just the right time. We have been able to tinker at LB and get away it as well as cover Bruno on Friday.

Now lets see if we can cover Murray's absence.

There is nobody who deserves it more than this group of players - I am enjoying this season even more than 1979. This group of players are playing for each other and the manager rather than the pay-cheque.

You'd like to think so as that would require Huddersfield to collect 40 points in 19 games and surpass our goal difference. Win on Tuesday and even a Derby County-esque wobble should still see us over the line. Exciting times.

That is incredible-testament to what the team has produced thus far. We will do it.

Based on the season so far, providing the squad stays fit. The maths model backs us.

"This is the conclusions of SAM (Sports Analytics Machine), the super-computer built by Ian McHale, professor of sports analytics at the University of Salford, together with his colleague Dr Tarak Kharrat.

The programme suggests that the two clubs are near certainties to win automatic promotion, with Newcastle having a 99% and Brighton a 96.5% chance of going straight up."
