Most wear a coat, hiding the lanyard, when they arrive at games, so the who is going to be impressed by someone wearing a lanyard when every bugger in the lounge has one?

I would bloody hate a lapel badge, easy to lose too if not attached properly.

Although I do wear my lanyard, every day, when I take the dog out for a walk in the summer, shorts, t shirt and a 1901 lanyard, how cool is that?

You have the ideal weather, you lucky *******, you could wear it 24/7 in Tenerife

Goodwood revival Icy? its medallion central . . . . actually laughable how many different gonks trinkets broches and medallions one can legitimetely require for a weekend, and you still need a ticket to get in!

In 2013 I had a car racing, a pedal car for my lad, and 8 glam cabs taxis, I actually had a spread sheet to tick off weho had which passes and tickets for which days.

so many glorious extras . . . free to thos who can afford it, very expensive to those who can't!

It's not so much 1901 club as £2001 club! Having been in 1901 a few times it is very nice, but I don't value football that highly!

The cost is earth shattering and I wouldn't want to sit that low down. Guessing you must get wet when it rains and don't the actual benches in the technical area obscure the view?

At the moment I can't justify a 1901 seat price, but have always wanted to know:-

1) What's the view like? I'm in West Upper, North end & like elevated views. I was particularly impressed with central front row of East Upper during a cup game, how does the 1901 view compare to other parts of the ground? Is it that much better?

2) What's the 1901 game atmosphere like? Do people stand up if it gets exciting, and in the unlikely event we might score a goal, win at home!!! My bit of West Upper is great, good atmosphere, excitement that time we scored a goal.... a few songs get started and decent amount join in. My visits to the East Stand have always been dullsville atmosphere wise.

3) What are the queues for beer, food, toilets like? West Upper has long queues for everything, but I do enjoy the concourse buzz, and excitement of having a pee AND getting a half time beer before the second half kicks off!

1. There are new 3D cameras all around the ground. They beam a holographic display of the match just in front of you, that you can turn to any angle using the provided VR gloves (and goggles, if you want them).
2. Sing yourself? Don't be silly, they provide a butler to do that for you.
3. Queues? I have no idea, my butler brings my food. He also brings a small (heated) bottle with a wide neck, so no need to leave one's seat and find a shared toilet

(You might have guessed, I am not a 1901 member!)

View is excellent; but then the sightlines from everywhere are very good to excellent.

2) What's the 1901 game atmosphere like? Do people stand up if it gets exciting, and in the unlikely event we might score a goal, win at home!!! My bit of West Upper is great, good atmosphere, excitement that time we scored a goal.... a few songs get started and decent amount join in. My visits to the East Stand have always been dullsville atmosphere wise. Most people stand on scoring; some stand on a likely-looking attack. Very little singing, but some are individually quite vocal. Little sense of communal belonging.

3) What are the queues for beer, food, toilets like? West Upper has long queues for everything, but I do enjoy the concourse buzz, and excitement of having a pee AND getting a half time beer before the second half kicks off! Queues are way, way shorter than anywhere else. Easily possible to have a beer AND a piss at half time. Also easily possible to sit before and after the game and at half time in the lounges

Bit hard to answer that question as there are 1901 seats in various bits of the ground but they are the most expensive seats for a reason.

2) What's the 1901 game atmosphere like? Do people stand up if it gets exciting, and in the unlikely event we might score a goal, win at home!!! My bit of West Upper is great, good atmosphere, excitement that time we scored a goal.... a few songs get started and decent amount join in. My visits to the East Stand have always been dullsville atmosphere wise.

Depends on the game and again where you are. Around me it can be very quiet especially for the less attractive games as a lot of the seats are either corporates or hospitality so either empty or a new person every week. Also get a fair few away fans all of which apart from one mouthy Leicester fan have been very well behaved.

Lounges are pretty good and you can order drinks for half time if you are that way inclined (I never have and have always got served promptly). Longest queue in the Harveys lounge at half time is for hot drinks. The staff generally aren't any better than the concourses.

You forgot the lids, there's a giant soft play area where you can vent of steam after a poor display and instead of balls its 4 foot deep in plastic bottle lids.
