I disagree, I don't think we're a million miles away, we're where you'd expect us to be having endured the injuries we've had. With our budget we can't put a run together without the likes of Orlandi, Crofts, CMS being in the side. We just need to have a good summer and bring in better than Andrews and Rodriguez.

Don't other clubs get injuries?

We've hardly seen Crofts, Orlandi and Augestein this season.

Greer, Calde, Bruno, Upson, Lopez all a year older and on the wrong side of 30. They cannot be expected to improve from what they did the season before(which none of them have).

Last season we had a Bridcutt and Barnes who were more content. This season neither player was feeling this way.

Ward is no Bridge. Andrews not as reliable as Hammond.

We arent underperforming, we're over performing.

you seen us play?

Crofts started 23 league games. He will have appeared in half our league games come the end of the season. Orlandi has appeared in 12 games. A quarter of the season. That's not exactly rare.

I don't think people are expecting Bruno, Greer, Calde, Upson and Lopez to improve on last season, but to come close to last season's performance. Upson is probably the only one who can lay claim to doing so. There should not have been the drop off in ability from the others.

Bridcutt was under performing, and Ince came in and gave performances that made people comfortable with the idea of Bridcutt going, so not really lost much there. Barnes was joint highest scorer when he was sold, and whatever people think of his ability, he can't be accused of phoning it in the way Bridcutt did. Barnes kept trying for the team up until he left.

Ward isn't Bridge, but neither is he Marcos Painter. He is a premier league experienced left back who has done as good a job as anyone could be expected to when following Bridge.

Agustien (11 appearances) is a weird one. hasn't been seen lately for non-footballing reasons, apparently. Fans seem split on his quality, some suggesting there is quality there and he just needs to focus/get fit/get a run in the team, others writing him off.

As for the team over performing, you have got to be having a laugh. It has to be one of those subconscious "I'm annoyed by the extreme negativity, I'm going to over compensate positivity" things, because there is no way that is squad is over performing. Found their true level? Maybe but over performing? Absolutely not.

I do think the injuries have done for us this season. I think most fans would agree that our best midfield / attacking 6 to start would be Ince, Crofts, Orlandi, Buckley, Ulloa and CMS and they've never played together yet. I'm not even sure the first 5 have all played together before.

Contrast this with the relatively injury-free season the defence have had and how well they've performed.

Never thought I'd say this, but I 100% agree with you.

I see your patience has finally gone!

So as it stands, he now has the support of less than 50% on here.

Looks like the writings on the wall!!

Don't expect nothing Tuesday, but if he is proud of his players Saturday as they draw another blank with one shot on target, I think that could be it for Oscar!

I'm starting to think though, that there is more to his "proud of his players" comments after Barnsley then meets the eye.

I wouldn't say my patience has gone. I'm not calling for Oscar to go. But I am not convinced by some of the arguments put forward to defend him/the team's performances this season

But we will always have that on NSC.

If we were bottom and cast adrift, the same hardcore would be defending him or any other manager.

Similarly if we where 10 points clears and promoted this weekend, some would be finding fault with him.

I was one of the first to call for Poyets head, the same as I am on of the first to call for Oscar's. Not because I'm never happy, just because I cannot see any way forward under him. We could be at full strength and I don't think it would improve. I don't believe for one second its the players. Its the way they have to play that I have the problem with.

I honestly think with the right manager, even with the injuries "crisis" we have had, Leicester would not have been promoted this weekend, as it would be a three horse race, and we would be pushing Burnley for 2nd place. I genuinely believe the squad it there, and so for what its worth do the club and chairman. But its just not happening for Oscar.

I know you love your stats, but look no further than shots on target and off target, and the final two, goals scored and points received. Because they are the only two stats that really matter. And if we keep having all these shots off target week after week after week, then something is clearly not right, and its down to the manager to change that. And he hasn't. And doesn't look like he is willing to, or capable of. And for people to just blame the players and not the manager, I think is so short sighted it would be funny if it wasn't the Albion!

Did you call for Poyets head before or after he finished 4th in the championship last year? Whatever he was sacked for, it wasn't to do with the success of the team.
