Simple answer is that Adams is looking for quality.Both players you have metioned play for league 2 clubs.Says it all really.

Both players are proven goalscoreres in this division and are a vast improvement on what strikers we have available with Forster and Murray out injured.

Granted they are not the best but they would have done a better job than the likes of Robinson Gatting and Dixon are able to.
