Chelsea's reserve team is full of players who will all make it at a decent level. Given they hand pick all the best players from other teams, their youth are always going to be good.

Rubbish, he's fallen out with just about every manager he's had. I heard from a former Chelsea player that Knight was very spoiled by Chelsea when he joined and he never stopped being conceited.

Maybe Chelsea will let us know first about any youths they plan to drop in a deal set up by Gus. We get to trial them for a couple of months and then take on a free if interested or never sign if not. Bridcutt has done great and if we get top championship players for free and a good long look before signing them, who cares they are not good enough for Chelsea's bench, doesn't mean they can't be Prem players in couple years. Not saying these guys will be that good but if take 5 or 6 like this over next few years, one may be and 2 or 3 should be Bridcutt esque champ standard freebies. Big thumbs up.

IF Chelsea spoiled him it would have been because he was highly regarded. He only came to us because he was fussy about the manager he wanted to work for, and preferred Steve Coppell to those of his other options. That oaf Magoo could not control him. As for other managers since, who can say, but maybe, his head was f***ed by Magoo?
