cup game following a mid week cup game, rain was forecast and people got soaked last week. Does not add up to a good mix
That's mainly my reasons for not being there today, plus I had other things I needed to do. Bad fan :(

Will be there again for Swindon paint pot though . Good fan :clap2:

That's what happen if you charge £18 for a cup game against unattractive opposition from the same division.

Too true. I know the club's hands were tied as Hartlepool have a say in prices BUT it has to be said they both got it wrong.

Yep, shot themselves in the foot with that disgraceful decision, even if I wasn't working I wouldn't have gone for that price!

As has been said the entrance fee is determined by both clubs and the FA as the gate money after expenses is split 10% to FA and 45% each club I think, so you cannot just blame BHA.

DISGRACEFUL ticket prices, given the current run of home games.

Brown/Knight/Perry/Adams out

Close...

(i) In matches prior to the Third Round of the Competition Proper (other than replayed matches in the Competition Proper), the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided equally between the competing Clubs.

Can't be too much left after expenses today.

I was fairly certain that it was 10% to the FA and the rest splt but that may be in later rounds.

Here it all is...

(b) Net gate receipts shall be divided as follows:

(i) In matches prior to the Third Round of the Competition Proper (other than replayed matches in the Competition Proper), the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided equally between the competing Clubs.

(ii) In replayed matches in the Competition Proper prior to the Third Round, 5% of the net gate receipts shall be remitted to The Association and the balance shall be divided equally between the competing Clubs.

(iii) In matches played in the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper, the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided as follows:

45% to each Club competing in the match.

10% to the Pool.

(iv) In replayed matches in the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided as follows:

5% to The Association.

42½% to each Club.

10% to the Pool.

(c) "The Pool" shall be a fund held by The Association which shall be divided at the completion of the Competition amongst all FA Premier League and Football League Clubs which participated in the Competition. The 5% payment to The Association for replayed matches in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper shall be divided at the completion of the Competition amongst all the Clubs outside the FA Premier League and The Football League playing in the First Round of the Competition Proper.

(d) In matches played in the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper involving Clubs outside the FA Premier League or The Football League, the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided as follows:

50% to Clubs outside The FA Premier League or The Football League.

40% to FA Premier League or Football League Clubs.

10% to the Pool (save where both Clubs are outside The FA Premier League or Football League).

(e) In replayed matches in the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper involving Clubs outside the FA Premier League or The Football League, the net gate receipts of each match shall be divided as follows:

47½% to Clubs outside The FA Premier League or The Football League.

37½% to FA Premier League or Football League Clubs

10% to the Pool (save where both Clubs are outside The FA Premier League or The Football League).

5% to The Association.

We lose money at nearly every home game so today would have been a catastrophe so reducing the prices would have made it worse. We would have had to sell an extra 1000 tickets for each £5 that the ticket price was reduced by just to get the same income approx. So it wouldnt have happened.

For me the reasons were:
1) 3 games which are outside the season ticket in a week.
2) The prospect of none of our loan players being available

Bad fan. Will try harder in future

Stop bleating on about small crowds at Withdean, we all know why, especially after the Day After Tomorrow II was part-filmed at the Millwall game. Moreover, Brighton are a smallish club - have been for 5+ years now. And not a single game got close to 5 figures today. I'm not in the least bit surprised.
More like 15 years:lolol:

sadly we are a medium club who could easily get 20k,but due to shite after shite with falmer its a surprise we get 5-6k for league games in that shite hole:angry:

Well Chesterfield also charged £18, for uncovered standing at home to a Conference club, and pulled in 6612. Seats were £20 - OK, it was a local derby, but the combined populations of Chesterfield and Mansfield are much less than that of Brighton & Hove. Also, higher League attractions at Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield are also much closer.

Cheaterfield and Mansfield HATE each other. Not surprised they had a big gate.
