In this sort of game getting a draw is as good as a win as you have denied the opposition/competition 3 points same will be true of the Huddersfield and Burnley games. Anything more than that and we will be displaying rock solid middle of the table credentials. Anything less then we are looking to get dragged into relegation.

I get your point (it's not box office), but Huddersfield v Fulham was not without its own drama, of a sort.

Yes, I did watch it and certainly wasn't bored. Feels like Sky are clearing the decks of all the obligatory DROSS though, in readiness for "Super Duper Sunday" (Liverpool v Fulham, Chelsea v Everton, Man City v Man Utd).

I fully expect our game at Cardiff to be the very definition of turgid. Its going to be utter dreck. I'll be in a pub though, so what do I care.

If the op is right and that is the turnout that is impressive for a 12.30 ko on the telly - and the trains are not in good shape.

My first awayday this season. My first last season was Swansea. Would take the same result.

Realised after buying tickets and after my son got coach travel sorted from Leeds that it was a 12-30 kick off.... Really wish they'd stop arseing about with kick off times

It’s a Neil Warnock team, expect plenty of gamesmanship. Players throwing themselves to the ground and staying down as long as possible in the unlikely event that we are looking threatening, to break up the flow. Niggly fouls, touchline histrionics, in the face of the fourth official. Keeper taking forever over free kicks, especially if they are in front, he’ll probably also spend quite a lot of time feigning injury too. In fact all that’s bad about the game. Quite a bit of hoof ball from both teams too I imagine.

I tip my hat to those that are going.

Cant remember which year but what about the game we were stuffed there 4-1 rings a bell where there was a hurricane blowing and persistent rain? it was terrible.

Yep. It was a horrible afternoon in a miserable stadium/retail park. The Cardiff players were obviously a lot more used to the conditions than we were. I also remember the cringeworthy attempts for fans to "Do the Ayatollah" on the video cam. Sad when you remember the atmosphere at Ninian Park.

Expect to meet up with a few Aussie rugby fans around Cardiff as they’re in town on Saturday as well

Jeeez I can't even remember what our strikers did, let alone theirs.

It was an evening game, close to my birthday, we won, I was really hungry but couldn't get any food until back in England,

Why was that? You don't trust that foreign food?? :lolol:

I hadn't been to the bureau de change, before leaving.

Also I tried to get something around the stadium after the game, no.
I think I must have spied somewhere on the outskirts of Cardiff, but it wasn't 24 hour.
I then stopped at a third place, nothing, and at that point I gave up until I was back in the 21st century.
