I haven’t seen it but on sky sports they were saying it wasn’t offside even after seeing the freeze frames. Sounds like it was unbelievably tight. I have always loved VAR.

Nope. Didn't have even the slightest thought from West Lower that it was even in question. Such a reprieve. Just one of the "what if..." moments of the season. Felt like we'd just scored the winning goal when it was disallowed.

I was fuming when that went in. To go from completely in control, to give up a two goal lead like that.

Looking at that freeze frame, I hate those offsides where it's so difficult to see. Obviously pleased it went in our favour though otherwise it may well have changed the course of the game

i think i asked whether it was offside in my post on the match thread when the ball went in but it was more me clutching at straws - I really didn’t believe that finally after some really shitty VAR decisions for us this season, one would go our way at such a crucial point - Southampton went from believing (rightly so) that they were really back in it and could take the win but after that, they crumbled.

I had thought it could be close to offside, but everyone went to the centre circle (didn't notice Dunk) and the lack of action by the ref gave me the impression the check was a simple one and goal given. I was also distracted by a crying child next to me. He was still half crying after we scored the third.

Really! I watched it live, thought bugger they've scored, watched the replay, thought close, but onside, so was very pleasantly surprised to see it overturned.

I called it straight away. I was right in line and was certain it was off. Couldn’t believe the Lino didn’t flag.
