Few years back my sister got a statement for her ISA in the post - they had printed the account number as the balance !!
Given that account numbers are 8-digits, she initially thought the interest was impressive but didn't get as far as trying to make a withdrawal before realising the error.

I am used to DDMMYY.

When did it change?

Was it since Brexit

I don't know if it;s relevant for this purposes, but in computer file names it's useful because it means alphabetical order is also date order.
