So what you are really saying is that the team selection was wrong we have gone in wih spinners when perhaps should have been Broad and Wood.

Broad and wood would have given us pace, but not real raw pace. We need the batters to bat well this innings and we may hang it out. Sussex have a couple of decent quicks but they need to persuade the selectors they are better than what is there now

It was only one innings that we have been blown away. This team now need to show the rankings are accurate

18 wickets fell yesterday. Today 0. Bizarre.

Quite extraordinary. I've known days without a wicket being lost but not with such a combination.

Wtf

In what way? The only element of farce was England’s shambolic batting effort. WI have two more days to win it. With a series to win, Holder absolutely right to keep going and grind the England bowlers down.

How on earth is it damaging the image of the game? One thing international cricket massively would love, is a resurgent WI.

Yes. It's good to see Windies doing well in the longer format. Most encouraged by this.

As soon as the first 300 have been knocked off I reckon the Windies will start to panic...

I suspect they are already panicking with no wickets falling on day three, the likelihood of ten wickets falling in days 4 and 5 is slim.

Hats off to Holder for an incredible lower order knock.

Re England - with Cook retired we need Burns and Jennings to gel as a pair, we do not want a repeat of what happened after Strauss retired. Even if we lose this test, a century partnership or a ton for one of these two will be great news.

England first innings a joke against a side beaten by everyone.
Write this one off and get it together for the next.

Day four... England, chasing 628 to win, start the day on 56-0, with Burns 39* and Jennings 11*

No wickets fell yesterday. What will happen today? Who knows??
