Well all I can assume is that he must have said to the board before a ball was kicked: "Ok, we're going to win every game 10-0 this year, so promotion, the FA Cup and League Cup are all in the bag." Then after they'd only drawn 1-1 away at Walsall the board must have said to themselves, "Do you know? I don't think we ARE going to win every game 10-0."

That's the only reason why I can think they've said that they've "lost confidence' in him. What else could have changed in 90 minutes?
