Has our time being deprived of our own proper home changed a lot of peoples expectations as to what a matchday experience is all about? At the goldstone, people were drunk, swearing and boistrous. Now we have great numbers again this atmosphere seems to of returned, much to the annoyance of some. Let's not forget loads of naughtiness happened at the goldstone, and when we were left without our home, we all moaned about how we miss those times. Now those times are back, people seem to be moaning about it. Have those wilderness years sanitised some of you ?

Society as a whole is much more sanitised than the 80's and early 90's. I'm all up for grotty, sweary experiences at away games but to be honest I rather like having a clean comfortable experience at home, plus the atmosphere doesn't seem to suffer for it.

Spot on. Although great stalwarts, many of the Withdean faithful are getting a very rude awakening

I disagree, I have sat, as a neutral, at chelsea, man utd, spurs and many more and its vita just as boistrous as it ever was

I am not talking about the 80,s and early 90,s as the matchday experience has changed due to all seater stadia. But as an observer of other clubs forums, especially the bigger clubs, I never see threads about fans swearing and being boistrous !
