It "starred" a chap who looked a bit like Ozzie Osbourne - long, dark hair.

It was set in a big, open plan house - which had a few people living in it.

It used to be shown late on ITV or Ch4.

I think the title was a single word - maybe even the name of the star.

Ring any bells?

Was it the one were he was in a band and when the show finished he was found naked hanging by a rope from his bedroom door? Or am I thinking of something else.

He did - a mad professor type who did ridiculous stunts which invariably went wrong.
