National Rail workers on strike over two days next week, now Southern train drivers vote for strike action over pay.

Are we seeing a return to the wholesale strikes last seen in the late 70s.

Still with the great service provided by Southern any strike action can only improve their performance for running trains on time.

When are we going to sign someone? It's only 10 weeks til the season starts and if we don't strengthen the squad we will never survive in Div 1.

I can see us being turned over big time in our first game if we are playing someone like Arsenal.

Best chance of getting a reliable Striker at the Amex would be to get a Tube Driver down. Wage demands might be a bit excessive though.

Will anyone actually notice if Southern Rail go on strike?

Fair play to them, tension has been building on the railways for a few years now and it's time they took a stand again.

Geezer called Steve Foster at Portsmouth. He'll never take a step down to a team as lowly as us I reckon. Probably be snapped up by Wednesday :lolol: I expect.
