Ah, the EXECUTIVE TOY! For when EXECUTIVES wore sharp suits and carried a BRIEFCASE and were clearly Masters Of The Universe, before Tom Wolfe even invented that thing. They sat at their cleared polished desk while their minions scurried around doing their bidding. Prob pushing up daisies or driving an Uber now

My mum had the Whimsies and I’m sure I remember the praying mouse in the brandy glass they were discussing but I can’t recall whose house that was in.
Also the knee high, glazed ceramic beer barrel. I used to put bogeys in the top spout.

All the items posted on this thread bring back such hideous memories of the awful decor of the 1970s I pity the generation that decides way way in the future that the 1970s was culturally artistically the epicentre of where's its at man.

Not forgetting the hideous fashions, hair cuts, suits, platform shoes, football hooliganism, Skinheads, punk, miners strikes, 3 day weeks, power cuts, Austin Allegro, cheesy Gold Blend coffee ads, bean bags and a white wash in cricket - weren’t the 70s great!!
