An early contender for the Most Utterly Pointless Thread of the Year award here then Das. Always hotly contested, but this one really could take some beating.

"A monumental waste of 2 minutes of anyones time" - The Guardian
"A masterclass of banal drivel, tedious subterfuge and poorly used smilies" - Variety
"Wow, I see I'm going to have to up my game. Moo." - Return of the Rev

I reckon Das has managed to build himself a replica of an old Enigma cipher machine, using an old typewriter with dysfunctional keys; some string & a cuppla tins of Pilchards.

Anybody live near Bletchley perchance?

Friends of mine have 1901 seats and they are great. If I could afford it I would have one. They have been season ticket holders for years before anyone thinks they are glory hunters.

I don't understand the negativity towards 1901 club. I think it is probably jealousy. I know I am jealous but then I am jealous of anyone with a season ticket at the home of football that is the Amex.

With all the home cup ties last season, a 1901 ticket worked out something like £40 a game, I think. Factor in a parking space, a free program, free hot drinks, and a warm lounge with no bar queues, or toilet queues, and it looks a pretty attractive deal tbh.

The £1,440 per annum, and £1,175 initial cost, is all beginning to make sense. Thanks.

Compared to say £450, you get say 3 cup games per season, progs, queues for drinks still (1901ers on here whinging about that), there is no free parking on site ... Thats extra.

All needs to be factored in.

Is this compulsory for you then. Your figures are quite wrong sir.
