I like the view. That's it though. An improved lounge doesn't do much for me I am afraid.

Originally got these seats because of my elderly father and the close parking this provided. Now feel a bit stuck as the options to move elsewhere are not available.

The woman that runs the bar is very good (and she is an Albion fan, I believe her husband is a season ticket holder) and there was a girl who was there for a while with daft eyebrows who also knew her way around a bar. Sadly its not great down there any more which isn't exclusive to that lounge or any bar in the ground. Guess that is the trouble with having staff that seem to change every week and only have real world experience once a fortnight. Can be frustrating if you're trying to get a pint quickly at half time though.

And as for the portly bloke you are speaking about if its who I think you mean then I agree he can be annoying. Every game he moans at me for not wearing the lanyard.

The young lady you’re talking about was also superb, Indian/Persian heritage?

Yep the short bloke, if you arrived from Mars for the day you would assume it was his lounge, nice enough chap though.

Can you not move to a normal season ticket from a 1901?

No.

Don't get me started...

I imagine if you want to buy a regular season ticket you will be able to; pretty sure they were available at the end of last season to people who were not on the waiting list. I don’t see this season being different.

Do released 1901 tickets get offered to 1901 wanabees or does PB grab all released 1901 tickets for Corporate Hospitality? Let’s fill 1901 with opposition fans or big companies who will pay for a meal

Anna is best bar manager at ground her little mate Shepla is no longer there sadly.

Portly Allen is an acquired taste but we’ve grown to love him like an ugly uncle 😀

Nightmare. You have to estimate when to go on the waiting list in advance to coincide with the 1901 renewal ? Or don't they even let you on the waiting list while you are already on the system as a 1901er ?

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
You're a better man than me then. I ended up just ripping it open as I could see no way of getting inside without so doing.
That's exactly what I ended up doing!

I see where you're coming from, and wouldn't surprise me if that was what they would try and do. As it is 1901 seat holders can sell their seat on the open market, not sure what prices they'd get.

Also, there isn't any room left for people to have meals, the place is rammed on matchdays. In particular the iTalk lounge as the members who were displaced when HB's was set up were moved in there, at the same time as they made the lounge smaller because of ant and dec. Likewise when Mullery's was set up the members in that lounge were then shared out into the other lounges. I reckon they'd have to cull the numbers if they want to cram any more corporate eating areas in there.

That's one thing that would put me off. If I hit hard times and wanted to drop back to a normal ticket would be a massive annoyance if you had to go on the STH waiting list. Seems quite unfair as I can move a normal season ticket to another part of the ground.

The thing is though if you were entitled to a season ticket in another part of the ground then it would be a perfect way of avoiding the ST waiting list.

Sell your 1901 ticket - get a normal one - new 1901 owner sells the ticket and gets a standard one - and so on and so on.

I do think if it is ‘surrendered” to the club though, at renewal time, then the ticket holder should be entitled to buy an ST in another part of the ground.

That seems entirely reasonable.

They won't allow it. You have to buy a new membership (which presumably also means you lose the loyalty points) and join the season ticket queue.

I think they fear a big exodus so they are saying no to this. It does mean you effectively have less rights than a season ticket holder. Should be classed the same in my book. It kind of goes to the heart of what my issue with 1901 is really. For many we just wanted a premium season ticket, great view, and the rest was a bonus.

Does 1901 still come with the option of a parking space near the stadium (if it ever did?).
