I just had an email on this subject, but it was swiftly recalled for some reason.

Anyway, for those in da club what worked well? And what still needs improving?

My only complaints are the transfer of Georgina Hostess to the East 1901 and the lack of a coat rail. I really would like somewhere to hang my pea coat in the winter, backs of chairs are not really suitable for long over garments.

Otherwise all good and I'm very happy with my lot. I wanted a good seat and easy to use facilities which I have. I have also made some nice new friends.

What about the rest of you?

The most pointless survey I have ever seen. Clearly an attempted exercise in PR by being seen to survey members but with no scope for respondents to voice their opinion on any particular aspect - whether positive or negative. The result is therefore worse than no attempt at a survey at all. Rather sums up the whole 1901 experience for me. (By this I mean the bit that you pay extra for over and above an ordinary season ticket for. The stadium and football has of course been fantastic. The 1901 has simply not delivered what was promised and what we paid for).

Having someone thrown out for challenging a Palace fan has changed my whole view of the 1901. They might be prawns, but they're OUR prawns.

alls good at the 1901

All is well with my seat & lounge facilities in the `901 club.

If i was to be very picky I would say that the quality ov the pies could could be improved.
But so what!!! I love The club and always will......a supporter for over 60 years.

Well most importantly my seats are excellent and we did get a good run of extra home games with all the home draws in the cups.
Food wise, I am in the Lower Gold North and my only big complaint was the buffet system which was OK if it was just friends but didn't really cut it if you were taking a business client. I sent them an email about it and was told that I wasn't the only one who wasn't happy with the system and within weeks they changed it. You can't really ask for much more than that. - problem solved!
The staff are friendly and helpful and at the moment every week it seems to get better and better as the other issues are being ironed out.
We can move between lounges now after the game which is an improvement too.
All in all I am pretty happy with it!

I'm east stand 1901 didn't get everything I originally thought but still quite happy. I think east stand 1901 is probably a bit different from the west most of the faces in there I know from years ago I think a lot like myself a bit older treated ourselves. The four seats in front of me are corporate but apart from that the same fans all the time. The atmosphere is quiet but I can live with that have enough fun at away games for my old bones anyway. It's nice to walk straight in and get a drink straight away and now all my mates who are in WSU, WSL and the North all meet up in East Stand Brassiere after the game watch the results interviews etc and have a couple of drinks before getting straight on train without queuing and go back to Brighton for a few more. I really do enjoy home games now.

Sodom..or is it Gomorrah!
Thought the survey would've asked about the whole 1901 experience from: parking (bennetts field), the ridiculous dress code (no t-shirts) & general bar staff (clueless) amongst other things - but no, all they wanted to know was how often you ate, would you like Chinese/Buffet/Mexican/Burgers, were the desserts nice, would you prefer two courses or three....ffs.

Filled mine in but seemed a bit pointless without any general comments box. And why was it asking about bar snacks like crisps? A couple of times post-match with mates I'd have stayed for another pint or two if there was something like that available but have always been told they don't have anything. One time there did appear to be some wasabi peanuts and that sort of stuff behind the bar but we were told they were for 'decoration'. By that point, I'd long since ceased being surprised by any of the bizarre things Azure do...

I swapped my seat in WSL for a seat in West Stand Middle 1901 for the Boro game. The seat and view was fantastic and lounges really comfortable and clean. Unlike WSL the queue for the toilets was good but just a couple of observations.

There where loads of empty seats, I presume a lot are taken for corporates but it is a poor show when there is such a demand for tickets at The Amex.

Behind me was a Boro fan who talked rubbish the whole game, sorry but I'm not one for sitting near oppositions fans.

When the second half started I was amazed how slow people are to take up there seats, the game is only 90 minutes and I reckon a lot only saw about 75 / 80 minutes of the game.

I know you pay your money so you take your choice but I was just a little bit dissappointed not with the service supplied by the club but more with the general apathy of those using the facility. I'm not being ungrateful for the ticket and it was a great expereince but it just felt a bit soulless up there and not a true football atmosphere.

Having someone thrown out for challenging a Palace fan has changed my whole view of the 1901. They might be prawns, but they're OUR prawns.

I have had a chat with a person who sits one seat from the person who got thrown out. His ejection was just.
