All Britons have a British passport and can live in any part of Britain so there is no distinction between Wales, Scotland, England etc.

No. A child born IN Britain, to 2 English parents, with 4 English grand-parents, qualifies only for ENGLAND. The same child, with the same ancestry, born outside of the UK, can qualify for any of the 4 Home Countries.

I may have this HOPELESSLY wrong, but that how I've always understood it, and is how the Eric Young playing for Wales scenario was explained.

we went through a spell of signing french players didn't we...along side frutos and carole we had chaigneau, martot and bertin in quite a short space of time
