Who you calling small?! Palace and Albion are perfectly matched because we share the same potential. Difference is, we're not allowed to tap ours because some crook got hold of us in the 90's and we're still paying for it. Bit like Germany post WW2.......

Brighton boss Mark McGhee could opt to hand Alexandre Frutos a starting berth for the Championship clash with Crystal Palace.

The French winger has come off the bench in all six games he has played for the Seagulls this season and may have done enough to finally convince McGhee to try him from the outset.

Richard Carpenter returned from a foot injury to play a full part in Saturday's home defeat to Cardiff and should keep his place.

Andy Johnson could be in line for a return to the Palace starting line-up. [extract]

If we don't get a point, our local derby could end up as Crawley!

Official Shite says Hammond dropped.

Chippy Fit To Face Palace

Richard Carpenter has come through a late fitness test and will start tonight's derby clash with Crystal Palace.

Carpenter will be joined in the midfield by club captain Charlie Oatway, who comes into the side in place of Albert Jarrett. Dean Hammond will line up on the left, while Jarrett misses out altogether.

There are places on the bench for Kerry Mayo and Adam El-Abd.

Iain Dowie makes one change from the side that won 4-1 at Coventry at the weekend, with Michael Hughes replacing Ben Watson in midfield.

England striker Andy Johnson, who returned from a knee injury at the Ricoh Stadium on Saturday, is not involved.

Albion: (4-4-2) Henderson; Hart, McShane, Butters, Reid; Carole, Carpenter, Oatway, Jarrett; Knight, Robinson. Subs: Blayney (GK), Mayo, El-Abd, Kazim-Richards, Frutos.

Crystal Palace: (4-4-2) Kiraly; Butterfield, Hall, Ward, Boyce; McAnuff, Hughes, Soares, Reich; Freedman, Morrison. Subs: Speroni (GK), Watson, Borrowdale, Andrews, Macken.

Referee: P Barnes

???

And SCR says Jarrett dropped. Oatway in
