I've done:

Chelsea 11/5
Brighton 16/1
Peterborough 9/1
Bristol Rovers 11/1

in my (each way) divisional winners bet........Barbados if I win!

Why should there be any hangover?
Bright new young manager with refreshingly new ideas. The players will all be up for it. The only hangover will be from those deluded fans who still think Poyet is the greatest thing since sliced bread and still wish he was at the club.
Onward and upward.

Think you'll find this was written before Garcia was officially appointed. My concern was about if there would be enough time for the new manager to prepare for the new season and bring in their own players, which as it has turned out, there has been adequate time available to do and indeed it would seem that Brighton were working on these preparations all the while the investigation was taking place.

On the plus side.

We're now out to 20-1 to win the Championship, with Skybet.

The news is getting even better, now:-

28/1.

I'm going to wait until we lose at Brum and then steam into the 33/1. :rave:

Skybet are the first bookie (if you can call them that) with Leading Championship Goalscorer. Ulloa is 20/1:ohmy: That seems on the large side to me as I was expecting 14s at best. Can't see it lasting long and I'll be amazed if anyone else prices him bigger.

I expect Leo to prove a real handful this season and given Oscar's attacking policy we, and Leo, could be scoring goals for fun.
Half that now, down to 10/1.

Well, so far so good on the betting at least if not the pitch. As advised on here, lay the 14-1 all day, but I backed Ulloa at 20s. Now watch him get sold...

I too have a fair few pounds @ 20's.

My theory is:-
Ulloa does well enough through to January.
He gets plenty of big club interest, in that window.
We don't sell, cos we never do.
Ulloa rams home the interest in the second half of the season.
Top scorer, Albion promoted.

Well over a grand into the Stat pocket!

Booo 22/1 now.

One win seems to equal a 6 point swing
