Just like to say...WTF was the driver and conductor doing on this train?
It was a long train 6 + carriages, and as we know Falmer has a shortish platform, pulled into Falmer and we were asked to move down the train to access the platform, only to close all the doors....( wouldnt have minded but being in the last carriage, we were only a matter of feet from the actual paltaform).....and guess what happensed...........100+ fans end up at Lewes...despite pushing the emergency stop, the train goes on its merry way to Lewes
A flustered Conductor tries to justify his actions saying that in his part of train, all of the fans had disembarked...what a twat...how about checking the other carriages?
What made it worse is that the return train had only 3 carriages and was already rammed at Lewes when it arrived....We made it on luckily, but a large number didnt
What a total balls-up, and so typical Of Southern Rail, who seem to have no appreciation of match day logistics, or customer service
