Just like to say...WTF was the driver and conductor doing on this train?

It was a long train 6 + carriages, and as we know Falmer has a shortish platform, pulled into Falmer and we were asked to move down the train to access the platform, only to close all the doors....( wouldnt have minded but being in the last carriage, we were only a matter of feet from the actual paltaform).....and guess what happensed...........100+ fans end up at Lewes...despite pushing the emergency stop, the train goes on its merry way to Lewes

A flustered Conductor tries to justify his actions saying that in his part of train, all of the fans had disembarked...what a twat...how about checking the other carriages?

What made it worse is that the return train had only 3 carriages and was already rammed at Lewes when it arrived....We made it on luckily, but a large number didnt

What a total balls-up, and so typical Of Southern Rail, who seem to have no appreciation of match day logistics, or customer service

Hang on, he made a mistake. Don't chastise the man too much for that. It's not the end of the world, he's made a mistake which has been pointed out to the man and I'm sure he'll be more careful next time. There's no need to immediately start slagging him off aswell as the company, the logistics and their customer service. Massively overdramatic reaction.

I'd love it if you could provide even a shred of support for that wild accusation. You're going to have to make a lot of inferences to support that sort of argument. We both know what exactly you're referring to, and you're going to struggle to justify that statement. Not that you'll care, of course. Allegedly.

Now THIS is an over-reaction. You'd think I'd accused Ninja Elephant of something worth getting all hot and bothered about.

Can't be arsed to find the thread but it was the one where you were saying that NSC had a civic duty to look after its special needs members. It was the one where Gus is God/Mr 100 posts a day had a massive flounce. Hope that helps

Like I said, I know what you're referring to. And the fact that you haven't been able to provide any sort of argument is proof enough that your first reply in this thread is in keeping with your miserable moans about any and everything, but with nothing to support it. Glad we could clear this up.

The 18.25 back to Brighton was a bit of a MELEE, especially if one wished to disembark at London Road. However, as is weirdly always the case, the front carriage was jam packed with a large number of NSC LUMINARIES and associated Albion acquaintances.

disagree, this is a pretty serious "mistake". basically didnt check the last carriage which exactly the carriage that needed to be check. Lazy or incompetant? Would you be happy in ths situation, or more seriously if there was an evacuation and the conductor forgot to check your carriage because the one he was on was cleared?

Incompetant perhaps. No, I wouldn't be happy either, but there's no need to try and stir up some ill feeling toward the rail staff, or the railway itself. Not exactly going to help, is it. The guy made a mistake, he wouldn't have wanted to take people off to Lewes, but mistakes happen.

I think I was on that one and, being the decent chap I am, I alighted at Moulsecoom so that others could breathe.

Oh, and it was my stop.

what are people doing in the back coach knowing that the coach doesn't fit on the platform ?
Maybe they are hoping to reach the station that serves the event that has caused the railway to put extra long trains on?

I'd be amazed if it came as a surprise to the railway staff. Surely they make allowances for reality?

Frankly, I am amazed that Bozza permits large number of NSC LUMINARIES to travel together.
